We partner with local communities, private businesses, and public entities to develop innovative solutions to socio-economic and environmental challenges.

ABOUT US

Our waste management initiatives empower marginalized communities by providing education on environmental wellness and creating sustainable income opportunities.
Additionally, we design and produce handmade furniture and unique design items crafted from recycled plastic, promoting sustainability through creativity.

Our approach

We help clients redefine their use of finite resources through improved design and development of waste management. We provide solutions to prevent waste generation, to reduce, reuse, recycle and recover resources from waste and make the connection between community and development.

Our approach

By taking a holistic approach to waste we facilitate the implementation of robust and sustainable solutions including:

  • strategic advice in the initial phases of any new project or development
  • operational support on how to deal with waste being generated
  • infrastructure advice on what is the best solution for handling of any waste materials
  • rules and regulations relating to particular projects and government guidelines

ALITAB aims at long term sustainability and the promotion of circular economy models wherever possible.

A waste management plan

The WMP is a document that outlines how an organization will manage and dispose of its waste. It should include:

  • Identifyingtypes of waste generated by the organization
  • Defining rolesand responsibilities for managing waste
  • Setting targetsor goals for recycling or reducing waste
  • Developing strategies to reduce, reuse, recycle, compost, and/or dispose of wastes properly
  • Establishing proceduresfor proper storage and handling of hazardous materials

A waste management plan

There have been significant changes in the Waste Management sector that might make some of the older concepts irrelevant or outdated. The primary focus of waste management used to be finding ways to bury or hide waste. Now the primary focus is to create processes that do not produce as much waste and finding effective ways to reuse the waste. Managing the waste and how best using resources wisely are global issues.

From the latest technologies to recover resources and energy from waste, to practices that make landfills less damaging to people’s health and the environment, our practical experience with public and private sector clients worldwide brings understanding of the application of these solutions across many contexts.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

To improve efficiency at the corporate level, reducing the amount of waste produced and finding alternative uses for the waste of their production process. A good waste management process is helping in cutting costs

To improve collection at the community level, making it possible and easy the recycling of most of the waste, from compost, plastic, glass, metal, and paper. For each kind of waste, there is a proper way to increase the life cycle of the products and of the material

WASTE SOLUTION

For each kind of waste, there is a proper way to increase the life cycle of the products and of the material. We offer solutions tailor-made for municipalities, communities, and corporates.

WASTE EDUCATION

There is no proper sustainable waste management with a real impact on the environment without waste education. We work with schools, groups, communities, youth, NGOs, doing training and explaining the value of waste, the importance to sort and store. We promote and organize cleaning campaigns and we work with people on the ground.

If all waste was sorted, the amount of trash would be minimum. Any recycling process if the waste is not sorted is requiring a lot of time and a big cost of energy, for a low-efficiency result.
